Library

The library is an academic facility and offers source-detail and literature relating to the theme of “Theology and Peace”. Besides the individual disciplines within the field of Theology, there is also literature on: Philosophy, Political Science, the Law of Nations, Science of History, Sociology, Divinity and the Peace Education. The library offers a total of approximately 190,000 different titles. There are 200 magazines available in the reading room. There is an online catalogue (click here for the online catalogue), and there is a system of local borrowing in place. Contents are indexed by a thesaurus and a classifications’ scheme, which was exclusively developed by the Institute for the subject area of “Theology and Peace”.
